Fieldings Birds

This show season we won enough challenge certificates for two of our birds to become Budgerigar Society Champion Birds.

The first was a dark eyed clear yellow and the second a reccessive pied dark green. Both achieved more than 21 points in challenge certificates.

I put all my lovebirds in an avairy and have so far produced 7 chicks. I bought a pair of lutino lovebirds in the summer. These nested straight away and produced 5 chicks. A second pair nested ( a grey green and a grey peachfaced lovebirds ) producing 3 chicks but one died.

The lutino pair have laid again and are sitting 5 eggs. A further pair has 4 eggs.
